The Heckler & Koch MP7/MP7A1 is a submachine gun derived from work on the Heckler & Koch G11 and XM29 OICW projects. It originated in the NATO Personal Defense Weapon plan published in 1989, calling for a compact, lightweight, high-capacity select-fire weapon for issue to vehicle crews, comparable to the AKS-74U and using armor-piercing ammunition. The first iteration of the MP7 was the "NBW," a proposed machine pistol using a short 4.73x25mm variant of the G11's caseless round; a weapon based on this design using a conventional cased 4.6x30mm round was then developed as a possible underbarrel mount for the OICW's grenade launcher module. The first standalone variant shown in 1999 was simply called the "Heckler & Koch PDW." The production version was given the name the MP7, marketed as the successor to the MP5 to compete with the FN P90.

The LDT MP7 is the perfect little SMG for all ages. A small and lightweight blaster good for even the little ones. With FPS out of the box between 260-280, the MP7 makes for a great CQB blaster.

High-quality replica. Great plinker or wall hanger. OK for CQB with mods. Reasonable price on sale.

MP7 Blaster.

Straight out of the box my MP7 was averaging 290FPS on my Acetech Chronograph, without any feeding issues. This combined with the size and the fact the magazine holds a surprising amount of gels makes this an awesome blaster for CQB.

WAT also has A2 rail adapters which I highly recommend along with a set of side rails to give the MP7 a whole new tactical look.

The only downside I have found with the blaster is the paint on the fire selector was flaking after minimal use. However this is me being picky and has zero affect on the use or operation of this awesome blaster.

All in all I highly recommend for anyone after a solid blaster out the box especially for CQB situations.
