Mesa Tactical SureShell Aluminum Shotshell Carriers with Rail combine a shell carrier with a MIL-STD-1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) Picatinny rail that accepts optical, sights, lasers or accessories. These shotshell carrier/rail systems mount via a "saddle" style method (Remington shotguns) or by using the drilled and tapped holes on top of the shotgun's receiver.

Solid - requires some custom work to fit

Really solid construction. The silver spacers that come with it will require you to drill out the body retaining pins to fit them. I worked around this by drilling a 2mm hole into the pre-existing body retaining pins and then thread tapping the holes.

About the piece itself, good quality steel, the shell holders have a rubber backing inside which provides the friction to prevent your shells from falling out. Due to the way it goes over the top you won't be able to fit a shell catcher anymore however it's worth it for how good it looks!
